2027: Atiku Continues Consultation, Visits Jonathan

After successfully joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has continued his consultations with a visit on Saturday to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan at his residence in Abuja.

Atiku, a few weeks ago, officially became a member of the ADC after obtaining the membership card of the party.

He had resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over claims that the party had derailed from the principles of its founding fathers.

He is being tipped to emerge as the presidential flag bearer of the party, although a section of the North, where Atiku comes from, had until recently rooted for Jonathan to contest since it is the turn of the South to produce the next president.

The former presidential candidate of the PDP took to his verified Facebook page, saying, “It was a pleasure catching up with former President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday evening, following his recent return from Guinea-Bissau.”
