Yesterday in Abuja, Hon. Chris Kohol, a frontline aspirant for the Buruku Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat in the 2027 general elections, was successfully screened by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee ahead of the party’s forthcoming primaries.
The screening exercise, which took place at Treasure Suites, beside Borno House, Central Area, Abuja, is part of the constitutional and party requirements for all aspirants seeking elective positions under the APC platform.

Hon. Kohol’s successful screening marks another important milestone in his political journey and further demonstrates his preparedness, competence, and unwavering commitment to serve the good people of Buruku Federal Constituency at the National Assembly come 2027.
The exercise also featured several notable APC aspirants, including the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, alongside other aspirants from across the country.

Speaking shortly after the screening, Hon. Chris Kohol reaffirmed his determination to provide purposeful, inclusive, and people-oriented leadership that will attract meaningful development to Buruku Federal Constituency. He emphasized his commitment towards youth and women empowerment, improved infrastructure, educational advancement, economic opportunities, and effective representation that will give Buruku a stronger and more influential voice at the National Assembly.
