The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has urged APC members across Ikeja to get fully prepared for the 2027 elections and intensify grassroots mobilisation.
Speaking at a gathering of party faithful held at Tokunbo Ali Primary School, Ikeja, Comrade Dauda expressed confidence in the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the victory of other APC candidates, including Hon. James Faleke.
He urged party members to “roll off their sleep” and get to work, stressing the importance of reaching out to residents and mobilising support at the grassroots.
Comrade Dauda also highlighted some of his administration’s achievements in the past year, reaffirming his commitment to delivering on his promises to the people of Ikeja.
The APC Chairman in Ikeja, Hon. Adebowale Adetoro, said the task ahead is huge but assured members that the party is determined to work hard to ensure victory for all its candidates, from President Tinubu and Hon. James Faleke to other APC candidates within Ikeja.
The meeting ended with a renewed call for unity, commitment and grassroots mobilisation ahead of 2027.
