SecretsReporters’ credible source within Delta State has hinted to us that former Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan is at a point of death in an undisclosed hospital in Warri.
The source familiar with the situation alleged that the former governor was flown abroad for medical care and was later returned to Nigeria by the wife, in what appears to be cutting of cost of logistics in an event of dying overseas.
However, the claims could not be independently verified as of press time, and no official statement had been issued by Uduaghan, his family, or his representatives regarding his health status.
What SecretsReporters can confirm is that the wife brought him back to Nigeria and asked that he should be placed on life support while waiting for him to take his last breath.
Efforts to obtain confirmation from family members and close associates however denied confirmation of the death to our reporter.
The former Governor served from 2007 to 2015.
