As the world celebrates Fathers Day, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has extended warm felicitations to fathers across Ikeja and beyond.
According to the Chairman, fathers remain the bedrock of every family and society. He noted that in Ikeja, there are political fathers, religious fathers, biological fathers, business fathers, artisan fathers, tech fathers, and many other father figures whose sacrifices continue to shape lives and builds our communities.
“Fathers are not just providers; they are carers, protectors, mentors, teachers, role models, and pillars of support. Their guidance, sacrifices, and unshaken commitment to their families and society deserve to be celebrated every day,” Comrade Dauda stated.
The Ikeja Chairman commended fathers for their resilience, dedication, and contributions to nation-building, while urging them to continue instilling values of integrity, hard work, and compassion in the younger generation.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, wisdom, and prosperity upon all fathers.
