NAHCON said intending pilgrims who had already deposited ₦5 million must pay the outstanding balance to complete their registration.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the approved fares for the 2027 Hajj, with pilgrims from the northern and southern zones expected to pay between ₦7.67 million and ₦7.88 million.
Under the new arrangement, pilgrims departing from Maiduguri and Yola will pay ₦7,560,822, while those from the northern zone will pay ₦7,672,822. Pilgrims from the southern zone will pay ₦7,882,822.
NAHCON said intending pilgrims who have already deposited ₦5 million must pay the outstanding balance to complete their registration. It also directed new registrants to make payments through their respective State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Agencies or Commissions, or through participating banks under the approved Hajj Savings Scheme.
The commission said it had fixed 26 September 2026 as the final deadline for the complete upload of intending pilgrims’ biometric data on the Saudi-approved Nusuk-Masar digital platform.
The commission also gave states until 2 December 2, 2026 to remit all 2027 Hajj fares, warning that no extension would be granted. It said timely remittance was necessary because data synchronisation and seat allocation for pilgrims depend on states meeting the payment deadline.

APPROVED FARES AND PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR 2027 HAJJ
In line with the principle of transparency, cost-efficiency, and the Federal Government’s commitment to the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) announces the 2027 Hajj fares approved by the Federal Government. The approved fares were determined following consultations with the leadership of the Forum of State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, key service providers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and careful consideration of prevailing exchange rates and service costs.
2. The approved 2027 Hajj fares, based on the respective departure zones, are as follows:
S/N| Zone| Approved Hajj Fare
1| Maiduguri/Yola Zone| ₦7,560,822.00
2| Northern Zone| ₦7,672,822.00
3| Southern Zone| ₦7,882,822.00
3. Intending pilgrims who hitherto deposited ₦5,000,000.00 are required to pay the outstanding balance to complete their registration, while new registrants are advised to proceed with payment through their respective State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Agencies, or Commissions or through any approved Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS) participating bank.
4. In strict compliance with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s policy, NAHCON has fixed September 26, 2026, as the final and absolute deadline for the complete upload of intending pilgrims’ biometric data on the designated Nusuk-Masar digital platform, while remittance of all 2027 Hajj fares by states must be completed by December 2, 2026. No extension will be granted beyond this deadline, as data synchronisation and seat allocations depend entirely on timely remittances.
5. The Commission wishes to emphasise that failure to meet the set deadlines will result in forfeiture of the allocated Hajj slots.
