Ebonyi State Governor Rt. Hon. Ogbonnaya Nwifuru has described Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State as a visionary leader, a steadfast patriot, and a pillar of the Igbo nation,
Nwifuru, in a goodwill message to Governor Uzodimma on his birthday, said he celebrates not only the day of his birth but the light he has continued to shine on the Southeastern region and Nigeria at large.
He noted that the tireless efforts toward the Igbo project, his courage and grit in defending the collective aspirations, his clarity of purpose in championing regional advancement, and his sincerity in building bridges across political, ethnic, and religious lines remain inspiring evidence of his deep commitment to the Igbos.
“Your continued partnership with Ebonyi State, particularly in fostering synergy, mutual respect, and shared developmental goals between Imo and Ebonyi, is deeply appreciated.
“This partnership has shown that our destinies as sister states are intertwined. Through your willingness to collaborate, you have strengthened the foundation for sustainable regional development, enhanced economic cooperation, and promoted peace within the South-East, ” Nwifuru stated.
He added that as the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum, his dedication to the ideals of democracy, and his stabilising influence within the party have not only deepened its internal cohesion but also contributed significantly to national unity.
“It is therefore most fitting that you were chosen by our President, His Excellency, Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR as the Renewed Hope Ambassador. This honour reflects your steadfast loyalty, exemplary service, and patriotism.
“As you step into a new phase of life, I pray that God grants you greater wisdom, renewed strength, good health, and overflowing grace.”
Governor Nwifuru assured that Ebonyi State stands with him in friendship, respect, and shared purpose.
