Ogun APC Chieftains, Associates hold Special Birthday Celebrations For Yayi At 57

Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, friends, associates and supporters of the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 poll, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola otherwise known as Yayi, on Monday, gathered in large numbers at the Asade Agunloye Pavilion Ground in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, for a special birthday celebration in honour of the senator who clocked 57 years.

The event, which drew APC faithful, leaders, traditional rulers, clerics, and party stakeholders from across the three senatorial districts, was described as a moment of unity, appreciation, and renewed commitment to the party’s vision for Ogun State ahead of 2027.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairman of the event, the House of Representatives member representing Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, highlighted Senator Adeola’s contributions to governance and party cohesion in the state.

Isiaka popularly known as GNI eulogized the Senator, describing him as a bridge-builder, a detribalized leader, and a consistent voice for development in Ogun State.

He noted that Adeola’s record in the National Assembly and his commitment to empowerment have endeared him to millions across the state.

Also speaking at the event, the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Daisi Elemide, who led other members of the Assembly to the celebration, showered encomiums on the APC governorship candidate.

He said Senator Adeola’s leadership style and legislative achievements continue to raise the bar for public service in Nigeria.

Elemide noted that although Senator Adeola was unavoidably absent as he is currently in the USA, his impact was deeply felt at the gathering. He prayed for God’s protection, wisdom and long life for the celebrant, adding that Ogun State would benefit greatly from his experience and vision.

Delivering goodwill remarks, the National President of the Nigeria Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Dr. Victor Longe, described Senator Adeola as a close friend and a leader of uncommon capacity. He commended the Senator for his consistency, generosity, and passion for human capital development.

Longe said the birthday celebration was not just about marking 57 years, but also about celebrating a life dedicated to service. He urged APC members to remain united behind leaders like Senator Adeola who have demonstrated the ability to deliver results.

The event featured prayers from clerics, cultural performances, and goodwill messages from party chieftains, traditional rulers and associates, all celebrating Senator Adeola’s 57th birthday.

Organizers said the gathering reaffirmed the widespread goodwill and support for the Senator across Ogun State.
