Dr. Uzoukwa noted that the Governor’s administration has consistently demonstrated commitment towards preparing Abia youths for future opportunities through strategic investments in technology, leadership training, entrepreneurship and human capital development.

He highlighted the Abia TechRise Programme as one of the administration’s major initiatives designed to equip young people with relevant digital and technological skills needed to compete in today’s global economy. According to him, the programme is helping to expose youths to software development, digital innovation and other modern technology driven opportunities.

The Governor’s aide also identified the Abia Leadership Academy as another significant initiative established to groom disciplined, competent and transformational young leaders capable of contributing meaningfully to governance, business and community development.

Dr. Uzoukwa further applauded the administration for sustaining youth oriented interventions through skills acquisition programmes, entrepreneurship support initiatives, infrastructure development and innovation driven engagements aimed at creating economic opportunities for young people across the state.

He stated that Governor Otti’s transparent and purposeful style of governance has restored confidence among many youths, inspiring renewed belief in responsible leadership and accountable governance.

The Governor’s aide equally commended the leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria under the leadership of Engr. Smith Sylvanus for conducting peaceful, transparent and rancour free elections across the Local Government Areas of the state.

He described the successful conduct of the elections and inauguration ceremony as a reflection of the growing political maturity, discipline and democratic consciousness among Abia youths, while also praising the peaceful and progressive disposition demonstrated throughout the process.

Dr. Uzoukwa also urged the newly inaugurated executives to see leadership as a call to service and responsibility, stressing the need for them to promote peace, unity, youth inclusion and responsible engagement in their respective Local Government Areas.

He reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Otti’s administration to sustaining policies and programmes that will continue to empower youths, strengthen leadership capacity and create greater opportunities for young people across Abia State.
