Panic at Kano Airport As Flybird Jet Crash-Lands

A private jet operated by Flybird Airlines crash-landed at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) on Sunday morning, causing panic among airport users and the aviation community.

Eyewitnesses told NewsNGR that the aircraft, which arrived from Abuja, was carrying 11 persons, including three crew members, when it experienced difficulties and crash-landed at about 9:30 a.m.

Passengers were reported to have endured tense moments before being safely evacuated from the aircraft.

No injuries or casualties were immediately reported.

Airport authorities promptly secured the scene, while emergency response teams were deployed to ensure the safety of passengers and personnel.

Investigations have since commenced to determine the cause of the incident.
