Seeking to deepen strategic partnerships with Canadian tech unicorns, the Governor is not coming back with souvenirs, but with a proven blueprint for a tech revolution in Anambra.
Still on a high-octane tour of Canada’s elite innovation corridors in Brampton and Toronto, Governor Soludo is doubling down on his mission to turn Anambra into a fierce global competitor. No sightseeing here, as the Governor went straight for the critical, grilling leaders at the Brampton Innovation District and locking in strategic ties with heavy-hitters like Altitude Accelerator, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, and the Toronto Metropolitan University Medical School.
“We are not just laying bricks; we are engineering a complete ecosystem,” Soludo declared. The game plan is to foster a powerhouse technology pipeline where talent scales, startups explode, tech transforms public services, and Anambra’s youth don’t just participate in a competitive digital economy; they dominate the world stage.
With Anambra’s Solution Innovation District already on ground, the Governor is taking his global lessons straight back home. His mission will be becoming more urgent: Build in Anambra. Innovate in Anambra. Create in Anambra. And compete, and win, with the entire world.
As Governor Soludo is still in Canada exploring more possibilities until August 15, as part of the Federal Government delegation to Toronto 2026, the race to propel Anambra to becoming Africa’s next tech powerhouse has officially begun.
