Tompolo-led group pledges 15 million votes for Tinubu in 2027

The PBAT Door 2 Door Movement has declared support for the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, convener of the movement, said the group was aligning with “millions of progressive Nigerians and members of the All Progressives Congress” in support of Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

The movement said Tinubu’s administration had implemented reforms aimed at repositioning the economy and driving long-term growth.

According to the statement, the administration had introduced policies in infrastructure development, local government autonomy, student loan schemes, digital economy expansion, agricultural support and reforms in the oil sector.

The group said the government had shown “courage in implementing policies targeted at stabilizing the economy, improving infrastructure, attracting foreign investment, enhancing national security, and empowering young Nigerians through innovation and entrepreneurship.”

The movement also acknowledged the role of Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, in promoting grassroots mobilisation and youth empowerment.

According to the statement, the movement remains committed to supporting the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda.

The group called on APC stakeholders, delegates, youths, women and supporters across the country to remain united behind the president ahead of the election.

“We firmly believe that continuity is necessary to consolidate these reforms and sustain the progress already achieved,” the statement read.

The movement added that it was mobilising support nationwide with a target of delivering 15 million votes for Tinubu in the 2027 election.
