Troops Arrest Fulani Youth Leader Over Kaduna Community Attack

Troops of Sector 7 under Operation Enduring Peace have arrested a Fulani youth leader over his alleged involvement in a recent terrorist attack on Naridon Community in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Zagazola Makama, a security expert posted on his X disclosed that the suspect, identified as Zakari Yahu Adamu, was apprehended on Wednesday at Fadan Chanwe following intelligence-led investigations into the attack.

Makama reported that Adamu, who serves as a Fulani youth leader in the area, is being investigated over his alleged links to the assault on Naridon Community.

The suspect is currently in military custody as investigators work to determine the extent of his involvement and identify other individuals connected to the incident.

The arrest forms part of ongoing intelligence-driven operations by Operation Enduring Peace aimed at dismantling criminal networks and apprehending those responsible for violent attacks across Kaduna State.

Makama highlighted that troops would sustain offensive and intelligence operations to improve security and prevent further attacks in vulnerable communities.
