June 12 turned out to be a heroic struggle, which exposed hypocritical elements who called themselves “progressives”, “patriots”, “democrats”, and “socialists.” It ultimately showed that Nigeria was a country captured by ethnically bigoted, religiously chauvinistic, highly kleptocratic, and fascistic elements.
