The Young Progressive Party Deputy Governorship Candidate in the last 2023 General Elections in the State, Dr Chimaobi Anyaso, has commended the giant strides recorded under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti within two years in office.
Anyaso who made the commendation shortly after various meetings held with his Party’s State leadership and gatherings of selected Stakeholders from Bende said the achievements of the Governor posed a formidable challenge for opposition parties, particularly those entrenched in adversarial Politics.
He maintained that although there were isolated dissenting voices opposing Governor Otti, the overwhelming majority of Abia residents remained steadfastly aligned with the Governor.
“Your astute and visionary leadership has brought a remarkable transformation within two years of your tenure as a governor of Abia State and for this we are very grateful.
“We shall continue to celebrate your extraordinary achievements and we pray that the God almighty will bless you as you continue to work for Ndi Abia”.
Anyaso emphasized that these dissenting politicians, who consistently refrain from acknowledging any positive contributions of Governor Otti either publicly or privately, constitute a mere minority.
He noted that with the present democratic framework prevailing in Abia State and Nigeria is a pointer to the fact that the majority actually dictates the Electoral outcomes.
The Igbere-born politician who has consistently championed the course of good governance in Abia State, commended the infrastructural strides of the Governor and described his policy initiatives implemented across the State as laudable.
