Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has given automatic employment to Ilebe Joshua, the top student from Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka.

Graduating with a remarkable CGPA of 4.83 from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Joshua’s outstanding academic performance earned him this opportunity.

Speaking at the university’s 16th Convocation, Governor Oborevwori encouraged graduates to not just seek employment but also consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path.

He emphasized, “As you step out into the world today, I urge you to apply the knowledge and experiences gained during your time here. Instead of just aiming for a job, I challenge you to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset. Creating value leads to financial rewards, and a quality education equips you to tackle life’s challenges.”

Governor Oborevwori praised the university’s management for its continuous growth and commitment to providing quality education.

During his visit, he inaugurated the new Faculty of Science Extension and the Microbiology Laboratory Complex constructed by the university.
