Oyo FA dismisses two referees due to substandard officiating in NLO
Two referees have been relieved of their duties in the ongoing Nationwide League One by the Oyo State Football Association because of poor officiating.
Olorunyomi Victor and Omofoye Godwin were the suspended referees from the Oyo State NLO center.
Oomofoye served as the assistant referee during the match between Shooting Stars Team B and Black Scorpion of Ogbomoso on April 21.
There were suspicions that he had assisted the Oluyole Warriors junior team in their 3-1 win over the opposing team.
On the other hand, Olorunyomi was accused of influencing the outcome of the match between Positive FC and Oyomesi on Friday.
The matches in Ibadan center will proceed on Saturday.
