Hon. Godwin Offiono receives Aliforkpa People’s Assembly in his Office

The courtesy call to Hon. Godwin Offiono, was at his office, National Assembly Complex Abuja.

These illustrious sons and daughters of Yache Nation were ably received by Hon Daniel Ugbama (Senior Legislative Aide to Hon. Offiono).

These men and women of Yache-Nation made it clear that the whole essence of the visit is to salute the courage and unflinching determination of Hon. Offiono whom they referred to as Abraham Lincoln of our time, and to reassure him of their unwavering support and commitment to their political party (PDP). This umbrella socio-cultural group of Yache-Nation also praised the Hon. Offiono for his style of leadership. Leadership that is devoid of acrimony and sectional sentiment. “The Honourable, we are deeply grateful for the representation you have given so far. We can breathe the fresh air under your leadership. Every son and daughter of Yache is proud of you. God will continue to enrich you with wisdom and knowledge. ” These ebullient men and women made it clear that politics is not war. To them, Hon. Godwin Offiono’s victory represents the untainted WILL of the people. These are undisputed characteristics of the person of Hon. Godwin Offiono.

Speaking on behalf of Hon. Godwin, his SLA used the occasion to appreciate the entire people of Yache for their steadfastness and assiduousness to ensure that Hon. Offiono was elected. He made it clear group that Yala is one indivisible entity, and we can not allow our sectional sentiment to divide us. “Yala is large enough to accommodate all of us. We can not all allow premodial and parochialism to put us apart. ” He urged the group to always play by the rule of the game. Hon. Godwin Offiono further assured that every part of Ogoja and Yala is duly represented in his developmental agenda.
