Shocking death hits Ilorin as popular Quranic, Tafsir memorizer confirmed dead
A pouplar Islamic scholar who had memorized the complete Holy Quran, Tafsir and Tajweed Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdul-Hayy, has been confirmed dead.
NEWSNGR gathered that the deceased who was aged 54 died in Ilorin on Wednesday after a brief illness.
He has participated in many Quranic competitions before he rose to become a judge.
Finding revealed that the late scholar dedicated his life to tutoring of Qur’an recitation, memorization and moral values among younger generations.
Late Sheikh Abdul-Hayy has been buried in accordance with Islamic injunctions at Muslim cemetery, Ilorin, Kwara state Capital.
