Tijjani Babangida, a gold medallist at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games and President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN), was involved in a devastating car accident on Thursday along the Kaduna-Zaria Road. The crash claimed the life of his younger brother, Ibrahim Babangida, leaving the football community in mourning.
