Former House of Reps Member, Sylvester Ogbaga, Quits PDP
Having represented the Abakiliki/lzzi federal constituency of Ebonyi State from 1999 to 2023, Hon. Sylvester Ogbaga has decided to step down from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
In a letter dated April 24, 2024, addressed to the Chairman of the PDP Anmegu Enyigba ward and also sent to the LGA and state chairmen of the party, Ogbaga officially announced his resignation.
In his letter, he stated, “I am officially resigning from the PDP after a thorough evaluation of the party’s current political situation. This decision comes after my longstanding membership of the PDP since 1998 and my dedicated contributions to the party’s growth through significant sacrifices and support.”
He emphasized that the decision was a personal one and thanked the party’s leaders for their exceptional guidance and assistance. In concluding, he extended his well wishes to his former party for its future endeavors.
