Abia APC Convenes Crucial Stakeholders Meeting Ahead of 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has announced plans to hold a major stakeholders meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and strategizing ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to a notice released by the party, the meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, by 12 noon at the APC State Secretariat in Umuahia.

Those invited to the meeting include National Working Committee members from Abia State, members of the State Working Committee, members of the State Caucus, and all aspirants preparing for the 2027 elections.

The meeting is expected to be chaired by the State Chairman of the party alongside members of the State Working Committee.

Top on the agenda are deliberations on strategies to further mobilize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, discussions on modalities for the forthcoming presidential primary, as well as conversations on party primaries and strengthening internal unity within the APC in Abia State.

Party leaders said the meeting would provide an opportunity for stakeholders to deliberate on critical issues affecting the future and progress of the party in the state ahead of the next electoral cycle.

The notice emphasized that all invited stakeholders are expected to attend promptly due to the importance of the meeting.

The stakeholders meeting is being convened by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District; the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu; and the APC National Welfare Secretary, Hon. Donatus Nwankpa.
