Guinness Nigeria PLC, through its flagship brand Guinness, hosted an unforgettable season finale watch party on Sunday as millions of fans worldwide celebrated Arsenal’s historic Premier League championship after a 22-year wait. As the Official Beer of the Premier League and Official Global Partner of Arsenal, Guinness gathered over 500 passionate supporters and football lovers at Guinness HQ in Lagos, with a simultaneous watch party in Abuja, for a night of triumph, community, and premium enjoyment.
The grand finale marked the culmination of a monumental season-long series of Guinness MatchDay viewing parties. Throughout the season, the brand brought genuine stadium energy to bars and third spaces across more than ten cities, including Enugu, Awka, Port Harcourt, and Ibadan, uniting over 10,000 fans in shared football experiences. The initiative reflects Guinness Nigeria’s continued commitment to anchoring the cultural moments that matter most to Nigerian consumers.
On the night of the finale, fans watched Arsenal secure a gritty 2-1 victory. The Lagos event was amplified by the presence of top entertainment personalities, and Big Brother Naija stars Koyin, Bella, and Prince, while Dede’s presence lit up the Abuja venue. The evening was hosted by dynamic Sports Host – Chief SUO, who captured the roaring energy of devoted Arsenal fans celebrating a milestone of more than two decades in the making.
