“Igbos dragging their kinsmen for supporting Tinubu are cowards”- Yul Edochie

A Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has condemned the actions of some Igbo people who speak against their kinsmen who are supporters of President Bola Tinubu.

Edochie, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) described Igbos who condemn their fellow Ndigbo for supporting the current administration as cowards.

In a post on X, the actor said it is almost impossible to find videos or posts of Igbos dragging Nigerians of Yoruba or Hausa extraction for supporting Tinubu.

He wrote on X, “Any Igbo man that is dragging his fellow Igbo man for supporting President Tinubu, that person is a monkey and a coward.

“Show me a video of you dragging Yorubas who are supporting Tinubu. Show me a video of you dragging Northerners who are supporting Tinubu,” Edochie said.

He also noted that the Igbos have failed to hold past leaders accountable for not fixing the nation or delivering good governance to the people of the South East region and Nigeria as a whole.

According to the actor, the Igbos lack the courage to hold leaders from other parts of the country accountable but are quick to do so when it comes to their own people.

“Show me a video of you dragging all the past leaders who couldn’t fix Nigeria.

Show me a video of you dragging Northern celebrities that support Tinubu. None.

“You don’t have liver to do it.

But when it’s your Igbo brother you’ll rush and set the ring light to drag him. You’re a monkey and a big coward. Shame on you,” Edochie added.
