Daniel Geoffrey Okechukwu, fondly called Dan De Predator of Team360 Football Club of Surulere by his teeming admirers, is one of the finest players in Team360 FC. He plays as a striker for the team in the ongoing State League put together by the Lagos State Football Association.
Okechukwu who always be a starting line up of the team during the league matches shared his experiences in the ongoing state football league and his plans for the future career.
Speaking with our correspondent recently in Lagos, okechukwu said the league has exposed him and prepared him for future challenges.
“My experience in the Lagos State Football League with my Team360 has been wonderful and more media exposure.It is a platform where I showcase my talents. My colleagues and I have been trying our best to get more wins having won 4 matches drew four and lost three. We are hoping to win our next match.
“However the Lagos State Football League is being monitored by major football scouts around the world and I must confess that my best has not come yet because of the level of competiveness of the league having scored few goals and did some assist .Like I said before my best is yet to come and I am looking forward getting more goals before the end of season, “he said.
Asked if he was worried about his team’s position on the league table, the gangling striker said he was worried but remained confident that his team can still make it to super four at the end of the season.
“I am worried about our position in the log but we will give our best to ensure that we qualify for the super 4 before end of the season, “he boasts.
Commenting on the impact of the league in his career, Okechukwu fondly called Dan De Predator by his fans disclosed that the league is making him to be strong and focused.He also revealed that the league has made him to be confident and consistent during all his matches.
“The league has positive impact on my football career.i am getting better and I have enough confidence in myself than before because like I said earlier the league is competitive and it prepares me what I will likely to see when I get to Europe for professional career in the future.My next move now after the state league is to play in top clubs in France , Spain , Germany , Belgium and Italy in the nearest future, “he said.
