ONC Condemns Attack On OSPAC Office & Commends Bravery Of Operatives

The President General of notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, has strongly condemned the attack on the headquarters of the OSPAC security outfit in Omoku, describing the incident as a direct assault on the peace and security of the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni area.
Reacting to the Saturday night attack allegedly carried out by suspected hoodlums, Amb. Ibe expressed concern over what he described as desperate attempts by criminal elements to destabilize the relative peace being enjoyed in the region.
According to reports, tension gripped Omoku after gunmen stormed the OSPAC office at about 8:55pm and opened fire, causing panic among residents and businesses within the area.
Speaking from his standpoint as President General of the Congress, Ibe praised the swift response and gallantry displayed by OSPAC operatives under the leadership of Emeka Onyeocha, noting that their timely action prevented casualties and further escalation of violence.
“The Orashi National Congress condemns in totality this barbaric and cowardly attack on OSPAC operatives who have continued to make sacrifices to secure our communities against crime and criminality,” Ibe stated.
He further commended the OSPAC Commander and his team for standing firm in the face of danger and protecting innocent residents from harm.
Ibe called on security agencies to intensify investigations aimed at apprehending those behind the attack, warning that criminal elements must not be allowed to threaten the peace and stability of the Orashi region.
He also urged residents to remain calm, law-abiding, and security conscious, while continuing to support local security structures working tirelessly to safeguard lives and property.
The Congress reaffirmed its support for all lawful efforts geared towards sustaining peace, unity, and development across the Orashi region and Rivers State at large.
