The Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, has introduced a direct payment option on its Intelligent Company Registration Portal, iCRP, allowing users to pay for selected services through ReVOps.
The Commission announced the development in a statement posted on its official X handle on Wednesday.
According to the CAC, the new payment option is part of efforts to improve service delivery, streamline registration processes, and make transactions easier for customers using its online platform.
Before the development, payments on the CAC portal were processed mainly through the Remita gateway, which supported debit card payments, bank transfers, and branch payments.
“The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) wishes to notify its esteemed customers that payments for the following filings can now be conveniently made directly on our portal via ReVOps on the Intelligent Company Registration Portal (iCRP),” the Commission stated.
The CAC listed the services now eligible for direct payment to include annual returns filing, change of business address, cessation of business, change of name, and change of objects.
Other services covered under the new payment system include change of proprietor or partner details, certified true copies, status reports, and letters of good standing.
The development aligns with the Federal Government’s broader effort to digitise public finance, improve revenue collection, block leakages, and enhance transparency across government agencies.
The Revenue Optimization and Assurance Project, REV-OP, was launched last year to strengthen public financial management through technology.
The initiative is anchored on transparency, efficiency, and digital transformation, and is designed to support real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making in government revenue systems.
The CAC’s new direct payment option also comes shortly after the Commission carried out maintenance on its online systems following a cybersecurity incident.
The Commission had temporarily shut down its portal between April 17 and April 20, 2026, after unauthorised access was detected in parts of its system.
The incident raised concerns over the safety and integrity of corporate data on the platform.
With the introduction of direct payment through ReVOps, the CAC is expected to improve user experience, strengthen service efficiency, and support ongoing efforts to enhance the security and reliability of its digital operations.
