United Bank for Africa Plc, UBA, has informed shareholders and the investing public that its Board of Directors approved the Bank’s Financial Statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026 at its meeting held on August 13, 2026.
The Bank said the release of the results is subject to approval by its primary regulator.
In a notice to the market, UBA stated that it has requested and obtained approval from the Nigerian Exchange Limited, NGX, for an extension of time to file the half-year 2026 audited financial statements.
The new deadline for filing is on or before September 30, 2026, subject to obtaining the requisite regulatory approvals for publication.
UBA also reminded its insiders that the previously declared Closed Period in respect of transactions in the Bank’s securities remains in effect.
The Closed Period will lapse 24 hours after the publication of the half-year 2026 financial statements.
The Bank said further updates will be communicated to the market once regulatory approvals have been received and the Results are published.
