Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a new wave of hope is sweeping across the 7 Local Government Areas of Anambra South Senatorial District as Comr. Greg Amarube, popularly called “Dino”, formally declares his senatorial ambition under the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP.
Branded as the “Umuchu Project” and driven by a “DIVINE MANDATE”, Dino says his mission is simple: *PEOPLE FIRST, PROGRESS ALWAYS.
Anambra South comprises Aguata, Ihiala, Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Ekwusigo, Orumba North, and Orumba South — a zone known for its industrious people, strong SMEs, and rich cultural heritage. But according to Dino, the district deserves better representation, better infrastructure, and better opportunities for its youth.
Hon. Greg Amarube “Dino” is not new to grassroots politics and community development. Known for his years of engagement with youth groups, market associations, and town unions, he has built a reputation for experience, capacity, and compassion.
“Leadership is not about titles. It’s about results,” Dino said. “For too long, our people have been given promises without delivery. The Umuchu Project is here to change that narrative.”
Under the Divine Mandate, Dino has rolled out a clear agenda for the zone:

Collaboration with vigilantes, traditional rulers, and federal agencies to secure lives and property across all 7 LGAs.

Scholarships, bursaries, and renovation of public schools with focus on digital learning.
6. Better Healthcare for Our People
Upgrading of primary health centers and free medical outreaches every quarter.
7. Empowering Agriculture & Small Businesses
Access to loans, farm inputs, and market linkages for farmers and traders in Umuchu, Ihiala, and Nnewi.
“This is bigger than one man. This is about our children, our markets, our roads, and our future,” Dino added. “With your support, we will make Anambra South the model senatorial district in Nigeria.”
