Loyalists and supporters of the Governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa are hugely sharing pictures of his meeting with Vice President Kashim Shettima.

The meeting was at the National Stakeholders’ Workshop on Economic and Financial Inclusion at the t the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Insiders say the Governor’s supporters have been sharing photos Aiyedatiwa took with the Vice President to validate his standing with the Presidency.

The Governor who won the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary election on Saturday, April 20, 2024, to become the party’s candidate for Saturday, November 16, 2024, Ondo Governorship election, is still battling to secure the support of other gubernatorial aspirants.

The sharing of the photos taken by Aiyedatiwa at the National Stakeholders’ Workshop on Economic and Financial Inclusion declared open by Vice President Shettima is “telling” all those concerned in the Ondo APC – and the state’s political circle – that the Governor retains the support of the presidency insiders insist.

“The aim is to soft ground, help the Governor get objectors to his ambition within the party to his side” according to those in the know.
