Activist and former senatorial aspirant for the FTC, Aisha Yesufu, on Wednesday in Abuja concluded a strategic outreach to Bwari, AMAC, Kuje, Kwali, Abaji and Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where she met with party supporters, stakeholders, members of the Supporters of Aisha Yesufu (SAY Nation), to express appreciation for their support and commitment to her political aspiration.
The engagement formed part of her ongoing consultations across the FCT following recent developments within the party that denied her the opportunity to participate in the contest for the FCT Senatorial District ticket.
Addressing supporters during the visit, Yesufu expressed appreciation for the steadfast loyalty, sacrifices, and commitment demonstrated by party executives, stakeholders, and supporters throughout her political journey.
She acknowledged the disappointment and frustration felt by many supporters over the outcome of the party’s internal processes but urged them not to lose faith in the collective struggle for a better Nigeria.
According to her, the outreach was designed not only to thank supporters for their unwavering dedication but also to encourage them to remain focused on the broader national objective of securing a prosperous and inclusive future for Nigerians.
She called on supporters across Bwari and the FCT to channel their energy towards strengthening grassroots mobilization and sustaining the momentum for political change, emphasizing that the quest for good governance transcends individual political ambitions.
Yesufu further urged members of SAY Nation and other supporters to remain united, resilient, and committed to the larger vision of delivering transformative leadership for Nigeria, particularly in support of Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The visit witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, with supporters expressing solidarity and reaffirming their commitment to the movement’s ideals. Many participants described the engagement as inspiring and timely, noting that it provided reassurance and renewed hope despite recent political setbacks.
Observers at the event noted the strong display of unity and determination among supporters, a development that many believe reflects the growing desire among citizens for accountable leadership and meaningful national progress.
Speaking at the conclusion of the outreach, Yesufu expressed confidence that Nigeria’s future remains bright, stressing that collective action, perseverance, and faith would ultimately pave the way for the emergence of a better nation.
The Bwari engagement is one of several consultations expected to be undertaken across the FCT as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots participation and sustain momentum towards the realization of a more just, equitable, and prosperous Nigeria.
“Nigeria will be OK,” she assured supporters amid cheers and renewed pledges of commitment to the movement’s objective.
