Senator Solomon Adeola, the distinguished lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District and the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2027 election, has congratulated the Alake of Egbaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, CFR, on his emergence as Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Traditional Rulers following the expiration of the tenure of the last chairman, His Royal Majesty, Oba(Dr.) Kehinde Olugbenle, MFR, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland.
Senator Adeola, who is the chairman of Senate Committee of Appropriations, said that he is sure that the highly revered and enlightened royal father will bring his wealth of experiences in public service and and community development to bear on his new leadership position for all monarchs for the peaceful development of Ogun State.
While exalting the leadership acumen of the Alake, Senator Adeola stated that as his tenure coincides with another general election season, he will be tasked with leading other traditional rulers to urged their subjects to be peaceful and exercise their franchise according to rules and regulations stressing that traditional authority is closer to the people to advocate for peaceful election in the state for all elections.
The Senator, popularly called ‘Yayi’ by his admirers, pray for divine wisdom and good health for the paramount ruler of Egbaland to pilot the affairs of royal fathers and indeed contribute to good governance through wise counsel to officials of government.
