NECO Postpones Common Entrance Exam Due to Low Enrollment
Announcement has been made by the National Examinations Council regarding the rescheduling of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity Colleges and the entrance examination into Federal Government Academy, Suleja.
In a statement released on Tuesday, NECO’s acting Director of Information and Digital Communication, Azeez Sani, stated that the reason for the postponement was due to inadequate enrollment numbers.
The Common Entrance Examination, initially planned for April 20, 2024, has been moved to June 1, 2024, according to Sani.
Additionally, the entrance examination for Gifted and Talented Children into Federal Government Academy, Suleja, which was set for May 4, 2024, has been rescheduled to May 25, 2024.
Sani mentioned, “The rescheduling of the two examinations was prompted by low candidate registration numbers.
“It is important for all candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and stakeholders to make a note of the revised examination dates.”
