inDrive.Couriers Meet Growing Demand as Apps Handle 86% of Nigerian SMBs’ Monthly Orders

inDrive, a global mobility and delivery services platform, is meeting the growing demand for digital delivery solutions among Nigerian small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through its inDrive.Couriers service.
According to an inDrive study, Nigerian SMB owners fulfil an average of 86% of their monthly orders through apps, highlighting the growing reliance on digital delivery solutions to streamline logistics and meet customer needs.
Businesses in sectors such as fashion, cosmetics, food and pharmaceuticals are leveraging these platforms to manage deliveries more efficiently and improve customer service.
Through inDrive.Couriers, merchants can arrange same-day deliveries by motorcycle or car, propose their preferred price and select a verified courier based on ratings and transport options, while real-time tracking allows them to monitor parcels from pickup to drop-off and keep customers informed.
According to the Country Manager of inDrive Nigeria, Timothy Oladimeji, inDrive.Couriers offers businesses greater flexibility in managing delivery costs and timing without the need for lengthy contracts with logistics companies.
Oladimaji added that the app’s features can help business owners coordinate orders more efficiently, reduce the time spent following up on deliveries and dedicate more attention to sales and customer relationships.
“Small and medium-sized businesses need delivery solutions that are convenient, affordable, and flexible enough to meet their day-to-day needs. With inDrive.Couriers, we are making it easier for businesses to arrange deliveries on their terms, manage costs and maintain visibility over their orders. Our goal is to give entrepreneurs more control over their delivery operations so they can focus on serving customers and growing their businesses,” he said.
To provide additional assurance when sending goods, inDrive.Couriers offers free parcel coverage in Nigeria, with reimbursement of up to ₦50,000 per order if a parcel is lost or damaged in transit.
The coverage applies automatically at no extra cost, giving businesses an added layer of protection when fulfilling customer orders.
